Named in honor of Herbert York, UC San Diego's founding chancellor, the York Society is an exceptional group of alumni, faculty, parents, staff, community leaders and other friends whose generosity through planned gifts helps secure the future of one of the world's greatest universities.
We invite you to join these remarkable philanthropists and become a member of the York Society. To do so, simply notify the UC San Diego Office of Gift Planning of your gift intentions. We can provide sample bequest language for inclusion in your will or trust or otherwise assist you with a broader plan that meets your philanthropic and financial goals. Your plan can include vehicles such as life income gifts, beneficiary designation for retirement plans or life insurance policies, life estate gifts and much more.
